This session explores strategies for ensuring the safety of large events and highlights a multidisciplinary approach that integrates security technology, human resources, and proactive planning.
Through comprehensive risk assessments, event centers can better leverage technology such as surveillance systems, real-time monitoring and data analytics, crowd management protocols, and coordination with other agencies to generate a clear response plan. Adopting a flexible and accessible approach to address the dynamic nature of risks associated with big events and mass gatherings helps ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
