ISO 31030, launched in September 2021, is an essential framework guideline that provides the foundations, route map and benchmark for travel security programs. It will assist organizations and those responsible for travel security governance alike before, during and after travel.

Godfried Hendriks MBA BSc CPP RSE (Amsterdam, Netherlands, 1963), is active in the field of security and crime prevention since 1989. He specialised in retail security, retail robbery prevention, retail fraud prevention, retail cash management solutions and public private partnerships.

After managing a group of companies, he works as an independent security and management consultant, business & product development executive, trainer, (keynote) speaker and moderator since 2002.
He regularly publishes about the use of technology and innovative crime prevention in retail and public private partnerships. Godfried has presented on these topics and been a participant of expert panels on numerous occasions globally.

He is a member of ASIS International since 1992, active as a volunteer leader since 2002, and has served as the 2020 President of the Global Board of Directors. In 2021, he chairs the Global Board of Directors Nominating Committee, tasked with selecting candidates for the new ASIS International Boards of Directors Europe and North America.

He is a seasoned expert in ISO Standards. He currently represents the Italian standardization body, (UNI) at the international Technical Committee for the development of the ISO 31030 – “Travel Risk Management – Guidance for Organizations”.

He is a long-term member and voluntary leader of ASIS International, and a certified CPP for over 20 years.

In 2007 Roger received Presidential Award of Merit for introducing ASIS International to the field of development of security standards, in co-operation with both international and national standards organizations around the globe.
Roger is also a frequent speaker at important international conferences and universities.

Andy Williams is a Senior Consultant Risk with Pyramid Temi Group a global travel security risk management company based in Bologna Italy and has visited on business over 70 countries around the world.

On the vocational front, Andy served as a Regional Vice President for ASIS International and was a member of the European Institute of Corporate Security Management during his former corporate life. He is currently a member of ASIS International and a qualified CPP for over 21 years. In the UK he is a member of The Security Institute and sits on the Advisory Council of CSARN City Security and Resilience Network.
He has worked on initiatives with UK Government NaCTSO, The EU Council and United Nations Intelligence Crime and Justice Research Unit on projects relating to counter terrorism and security in public places.

His specialist areas are hotel and travel security, enterprise security risk management, public/private realm mixed use development projects, new build security design, global safety and security certification programs including working with, ‘Safehotels Certification’ based in Sweden.
