The energy production sector is adapting to climate-neutral solutions. For the electricity sector, this means diversification of generation assets by introducing solar farms, wind farms, small hydro, battery storage and pumped storage. Whereas in the past, large, static and manned generation sites were the main focus, this has evolved in recent years to smaller, remote and unmanned generation sites.
This new business scenario obviously has an important effect on security risks, the corresponding security measures, our methodologies, and our budgets.
The presentation will share our journey of adapting the security organisation to meet the new requirements of the core business, highlighting how we met both the expectations from the business leaders and managed the change process within our security organisation.
