The following terminologies are often times used interchangeably and incorrectly: cyber, IT, network, logical, and information security. This presentation is aimed to give audience a correct understanding on each terminology and how they relate to each other.

Rex Lam is a senior consultant at Guardian Forest Security Limited.  In his current role, Rex is active in the Asia Pacific region providing independent security consultation services including risk assessment, policy & procedure, system design, security audit, investigation & forensics, penetration testing, event security, and executive protection.

Rex entered the security industry in 2004 and has over 19 years of experience in providing security consultation for high risk clients.  Rex’s professional knowledge comprehensively spans across research & development, system integration, training, and risk management.

During this rewarding career, Rex has served a wide range of business sectors from critical infrastructure, insurance, logistics hubs, luxurious retail, and jewellery, casinos, utilities, NGOs, embassies, hospitality, banks, pharmaceutical, industrial, journalism, educational institutions, and data centres.
