From the Battlefield to the Boardroom: Lessons from Ukraine on Countering Drone and Hybrid Threats ASIS Europe 2026 Conference Recording
Ukraine has become the world’s most advanced testbed for next-generation hybrid warfare, where kinetic, digital, and psychological operations converge through the widespread use of modern technology. This session examines how Ukrainian security professionals and private-sector leaders have adapted to hybrid operations, insider risks, and terrorist attacks targeting both physical and informational domains. It showcases integrated detection, response, and resilience frameworks forged under wartime conditions, offering critical lessons for European corporate security.
The rapid evolution of drone and AI technologies in Ukraine’s wartime environment has already started to redefine the risk landscape far beyond the battlefield. Their broader use by criminal actors and other perpetrators in civilian life is a matter of time, not speculation. For the corporate security function, this elevates the priority to recalibrate protective measures, strengthen situational awareness, and embed wartime-proven methodologies into everyday risk management.
