Evolution of AI - what's real, what's hype, and what's the future Webinar

Florian Matusek 
Product Marketing Manager | Genetec

As part of Product Marketing, Florian is responsible for corporate narratives such as AI, Intelligent Automation, cybersecurity, and privacy. He represents Genetec on the SIA AI Advisory Board, contributing his extensive experience in video analytics and AI. He is also the inventor of 15 patents in the field of Computer Vision in physical security. 

Florian co-founded KiwiSecurity in 2008, a company specializing in video analytics software, bridging security and privacy, which was later acquired by Genetec.  

He holds a master's degree in Computer Vision from the Vienna University of Technology, and a PhD in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu, Finland, for his work on privacy protection in video surveillance. 

In his private capacity, Florian authored the thriller Nowhere to Hide, with a successor to be published in May 2026. 

Abdel El Amrani
Product Line Manager | Genetec

Abdel El Amrani is a Product Line Manager at Genetec, leading Investigation. He is responsible for shaping product strategy and driving the evolution of solutions that help organizations modernize security operations at scale through cloud innovation, hybrid flexibility, and streamlined user experiences. 

Based in Montreal, Abdel brings extensive experience in SaaS product management, cloud platforms, and hybrid architectures, with a strong understanding of both physical and digital security environments. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to the growth of technology solutions across several industries, including banking, broadcast, cybersecurity, and physical security.

Joel Tetreault 
Chief AI Officer | Dataminr

Joel Tetreault is the Chief AI Officer at Dataminr, where he leads the company’s AI efforts in applied research and engineering. His teams are in charge of creating AI models that detect and summarize breaking events around the world in real time, as well as the next generation of agentic AI systems for real-time event detection. 

A scientist and AI innovator with nearly 20 years of experience, Joel has led research teams and built products used by millions at companies like Grammarly, Yahoo, Nuance, and Educational Testing Services. He has over 200 publications and patents in top-tier conferences and journals in AI.

Jeanette Miller-Osborn
Field Cyber-Intelligence Officer | Dataminr

Jeanette Miller-Osborn is a highly sought-after global cybersecurity voice, known for dismantling ransomware, shaping national cyber defense, and tracking sophisticated threat actors. A former U.S. Air Force Mandarin Cryptologic Linguist, their blend of intelligence and technical expertise was foundational to co-creating the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
