Emotional intelligence and mindfulness play an important role when building the mentor/mentee relationship. This webinar will discuss how thoughts and actions are not always enough to create change and the methodological considerations of heuristics and hermeneutics in mentoring. Finally, we will focus on the key dimensions of how to be an authentic mentor and leader within the ASIS mentoring program and ensure you build the correct framework for not just your mentee to grow, but you as a mentor too.

Aaron has been involved in aviation and corporate security since leaving the UK Police force in 1997. Since then Aaron has been involved in writing and delivering in-flight aviation security programs for airlines the world over and has trained over 40,000 cabin crew in all aspects of in-flight security. A former IATA instructor Aaron continues to train aviation security and has been invited to talk at the Disruptive Passenger Global Security Event in London, 2019, on Amygdala Hijacking and Emotional Intelligence.
Aaron has a Masters in Criminology and Criminal Psychology with a thesis on Neurocriminology and its ability to predict psychopathy and aggressive behavior and is also completing his 100 hours to become an associate certified coach under the International Coaching Federation.
