Description
This webinar focuses on recent active assailant events in both commercial and education environments. Case studies will be used to highlight failure to follow best practices that are clearly spelled out in documents like ASIS WPV and AA Prevention and Response Standards and NFPA3000. Pulling key guidelines from these "open source" documents and comparing those "best practices" to what was actually done will provide the foundation of the liability "risk/cost" that resulted from those recent tragic events. The webinar will highlight utilizing the Deter, Detect and Defend concept and overlaying People, Process and Technology in Planning for, Responding to and Recovering from a Hostile Event in the Workplace. Additional information from the Wall Street Journal, the American Bar Associations and the Loss Prevention Foundation will be referenced to establish credibility.
