CSO Event: Live with Less Stress, Learn to Decompress: Strategies for the Digital Era
Presented 13 April 2023.
The last 3 years have been stressful for most people. The transition to remote work created new levels of stress, blurring the boundaries between work and personal life. Between endless Zoom meetings to working longer hours because you have no commute, employees are experiencing higher levels of stress than before. Navigating these stressful moments is critical for employees to feel better and perform at their best.
In this session, attendees will learn to identify different ways that stress impacts the mind and body, and will cover the symptoms that might indicate that people might need help from a licensed mental health professional like a psychologist. Finally, the session will end with a set of helpful strategies to help employees manage their stress and workload more effectively. These tips include activities to do before diving into work, while they are working, and as they transition out of work in the evening. Learning to decompress at each of these times will help employees manage stress more effectively and continue to maintain their productivity.
