Speaker: Rachel Briggs OBE, CEO, The Clarity Factory

 

Rachel Briggs OBE is CEO of The Clarity Factory, which produces research, thought leadership and consultancy on corporate security and cyber security. She’s advised dozens of multinational corporations, provides benchmarking services, and regularly briefs security leadership teams. 

 

She is also Associate Fellow at Chatham House and a board member of the Risk and Security Management Forum (RSMF) and the Global Center on Cooperative Security and the RSMF. She was Founding Executive Director of Hostage US and the first Director of Hostage International. She is author of The Business Value of Corporate Security: Sustainable commercial success through resilience, insight, and crisis leadership in a volatile world, and co-author of  The Business of Resilience.

 

Rachel was awarded an OBE in 2014, received the International Security Management Association (ISMA) Outstanding Achievement Award in 2016 and was the Saturday Profile in The New York Times. She has written for many newspapers and magazines, including Financial TimesThe Washington Post and Foreign Policy
