Unraveling the Generational Enigma in the Workplace
The current workforce is made up of people born between 1946-2009, (baby boomers, Gen X, millennials, Gen Z). So much change has taken place in 63 years, and now we have AI to add to the mix. Technology has gone from 6-inch phones having more computing power than the first portable computers with 4.77 MHz and memory of 128 KB. Each generation thinks, communicates, and learns differently, which will make for either confrontational or seamless interactions. Managers will need to be ready to lead a diverse talent base from multiple generations while knowing how to communicate strategies and objectives, and how to motivate them without making them feel replaced by technology (AI). By the end of this session, attendees should leave with a better understanding of the implication of working with five generations—and AI—on a team.
