Unlock the transformative power of AI, ML, and RPA in your security operations. This Best of GSX package features 5 recordings demonstrating how leading enterprises are leveraging these technologies to modernize their Global Security Operations Centers (GSOCs), enhance threat detection, and combat organized retail crime.
This package includes:
Modernize your GSOC and Guardforce using AI, ML & Robotics Process Automation
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a general class of enterprise software technologies that automate repetitive and rule-based computer tasks without human intervention. Some experts predict that RPA could eliminate up to 35 percent of current jobs by 2035. And yet these tools have had minimal penetration into the physical security world, largely owing to the physical nature of security tasks. However, GSOC automation through various edge devices (combining cameras, access control, and physical robots) offers a compelling way to bridge the cyber-physical divide. In this talk, we will examine the ways in which large enterprises are adopting new technologies and RPA/AI/ML to automate, enhance, and improve their ability to observe more incidents, respond faster, and save money in the process. We will look at specific capabilities such as automated camera monitoring. alarm response, virtual patrols, safety observation tours, and credential and visitor management.
Building an AI-Enabled GSOC: Practical Considerations and Case Studies
At some point, nearly every company at scale must determine whether to internally build or outsource a GSOC. This session will cover the benefits and costs of the build versus outsource decision, as well as the role AI plays in both scenarios. Topics will include the specific methodologies to gain executive buy-in, SOP development, “operator” vs. “analyst” skillset selection, and technology implementation. The presenter will introduce case studies of GSOC performance since inception and provide concrete examples to support funding justification documents. Case studies include a large natural disaster, civil unrest, and a supply chain disruption. Each case study will address lessons learned related to the intersection of operations, analysis and AI, and cross-organization support.
Organized Retail Crime & Artificial Intelligence
The retail landscape is grappling with a concerning surge in "smash and grab" robberies - violent and coordinated thefts that have made headlines across the US. Organized crime groups execute swift and brazen heists, entering businesses, seizing merchandise, and making rapid getaways. Law enforcement has struggled to respond effectively due to the speed and scale of these attacks.
This presentation aims to educate our audience on these crime trends, explore deterrence strategies, and discuss actionable plans to combat sudden heists. We will delve into the role of AI in rapidly detecting and responding to these threats, offering insights into the technological solutions that can safeguard businesses from organized retail crime.
Fewer Missed Incidents and Faster Response Times: How to leverage AI for your GSOC and Guardforce
The purpose of this X-stage session is to educate the audience on four specific applications of Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics through a product demo. Security leaders are looking for ways to get more out of the camera and alarm systems they've invested in, and are tired of missing incidents. Many programs can't even manage all of their access control alarms due to excess noise. The technologies showcased in this session will show them examples of exactly how Cobalt's solutions (and those of others) has helped companies such as FedEx, Salesforce, and Sutter Health become more proactive while delivering cost efficiencies for the business. More specifically, the demonstration will include a look at how to turn traditional cameras into smart cameras using cloud-based AI analytics, how to use Cobalt's Omni AI to tie together disparate PACS and VMS systems to detect threats such as tailgating in real-time, and how to combine AI and human video review to acknowledge, root cause, and clear 100% of access control alarms. Since this session is led by Cobalt's Chief Product Officer, it will be run like an educational and technical product demo - not a sales pitch.
Artificial Intelligence: Harnessing Security Data for Business Outcomes
AI is transforming and elevating business outcomes, but its success hinges on preserving, sustaining, and extracting value from the data it runs on – and security data is no exception. Security data can drive efficiency, advanced threat detection, critical business insights and more with the right architecture in place. In this session, we will discuss trends and best practices and drill down into the mission critical architecture necessary to unlock the power of AI.
