ASIS Upskill- Teamwork and Collaboration

Trust and collaboration are the foundation of every high-functioning team, whether members work side by side or across different locations and schedules. This package includes three modules designed to help you build trusting relationships, strengthen your effectiveness as a team player, and navigate the unique challenges of leading and working within hybrid teams.

• Building Better Work Relationships
  Working with people requires building relationships based on trust. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to control your assumptions and understand people’s behaviors in order to build a trusting working relationship.
  
  
• Building Your Strength as a R.E.A.L. Team Player
  The effectiveness of a team is determined by the effectiveness of each team player. A REAL team player is anyone who accepts responsibilities, is empowered to make things better, accepts accountability, and learns enthusiastically and continuously. This lesson will provide an insight into traits and behaviors of REAL team players. 
  
  
• Successfully Working in Hybrid Teams 
  Hybrid teams may include full timers, part timers, those who are co-located, and those who are located in different locations/geographies. The unique combination of these team members can create unique challenges for all members. This module will identify some of the roadblocks these types of teams face, uncover issues which may lead to lack of team member engagement, and identify challenges leaders may face in this type of working climate.    

Security operations often depend on seamless collaboration across shifts, sites, and teams that rarely share the same room, making trust-building and hybrid team effectiveness critical to consistent, reliable security performance.
