This session will provide a brief overview of the situation in the Red Sea and the direct impact on supply chains followed by the current short-term remedies or work arounds and the new risks that arise out of these temporary fixes. We will then discuss the potential longer-term effects and solutions from the supply chain perspective to minimise or mitigate this risk and reduce negative impact on the company. The specific role of the security manager to manage the supply chain security aspect to avoid or reduce wider company issues and or negative financial impacts will also be addressed. Finally, some tips and tricks will be shared to help you prepare for questions around supply chain security.
