An overview of the dynamics surrounding the behavioral health patient/student and the day-to-day challenges related to providing medical and educational services to patients and students in a safe environment. Discussion will include leading practices surrounding policy development, appropriate responses for mitigating challenging and aggressive behavior in a pediatric environment, environmental planning, and staff training to include fostering teamwork between security and other staff members.

Mr. Love is the Director of Security Services for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the ASIS International Healthcare Security Council and past Chapter Secretary of the Cincinnati Chapters of ASIS International and the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS). He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Security Professionals Association (ISPA). Myron is also the Principal and Owner of Dominion Security Limited, a provider of Physical Security Risk Assessment and Workplace Violence Mitigation Consulting services.
